Went to undergrad (University of North-Chapel Hill GO HEELS!), played on the Basketball team on scholarship there. Went to Grad School and got a Masters Degree at Emory University in Atlanta. Loved Atlanta so much when I moved in 1993 that I never left. Started working (never stopped!), got married in 1998. Had two beautiful daughters and I'm just trying to keep it movin!!I also own an Educational Consultant business, volunteer with a few orgs and assist with Marketing my husband's company Cooper e.Business Solutions. www.cooperebusiness.com. Hit us up if your company needs Web-based IT solutions (website, web applications, e.Commerce, etc.)
I would have to say that winning the girls basketball state championship was definitely one of the biggest highlights of my high school career. Glad we were able to give Coach Pellman his first championship (Rest In Peace Pellman!) Getting voted Ms. Senior in the homecoming court was nice too. Cheering on the Mighty Bruins was always fun. The SAE trip to Myrtle Beach was a blast! Hanging out at the North/South Basketball All-Star game with Hackett and all the other friends I made was fun (Rest in Peace Mr. Uly!!). We were both sad we missed the Senior Trip to the Bahamas playing in that game, but we represented OW well! One of my favorites was just hanging out in the Commons Area with my friends and classmates. I miss you guys!! I'm still very close with Renee (Watson) Johnson and Angie (Lewis) Goldsmith and they are both as crazy as ever. I love them for always keeping the "O" fresh in my mind and heart.
