Orangeburg-Wilkson Class of 88 left for the Navy 2 weeks later. Did a lot of traveling( Orlando, Chicago, Cali, Hawaii, Australia, Tour in Kuwait, Washington DC, back to Cali, got out of the Navy, moved back to Orangeburg, it was too slow, moved to New York, it was too fast, moved to Washington DC, Love DC, Got home sick, moved to Charlotte, Fell for a girl in the ATL, Moved to Atlanta, Been here going on 6 years and I am home sick again! Next stop Orangeburg or Charleston?

I was in one of my teachers class and she had just returned a test in which I got a good grade. So I cracked a joke to my relief of passing the test. Everyone laughed! Class was over and as I left the class the teacher stopped me to tell me something. She said "Always be sure that your friends are laughing with you and not at you because you have so much more to offer in life than to crack jokes so people will except you. Well I still crack jokes but I live my life with no worries of what anyone thinks or excepts. She changed my life. Her name was Mrs. Hillard ( Don's Mom)
