Robin Roberts

Immediately after graduation I went to Basic training at Ft Jackson. (USAR) That fall I started at the USC in Columbia and had some really great times. I pledged the ALPHA my freshman year. Ice Ice Baby!!! In my Junior year I was deployed to support Desert storm. I remember Kirkland Kearse and I were representing O-W in Saudi. Once I returned I completed school at USC and started working(Wachovia). I also opened a summer camp in West Columbia. I stayed in Columbia working which is where I met my wife Veronica. After the wedding we moved to Charlotte and had my son Xavier. After Charlotte we spent 7 years in Florida.(Orlando and Fernandina Beach). Our Daughter Kennedi was born while we were in Orlando. We just moved to the Minneapolis/St Paul area last September. I thought I was Ice Cold before. I am definitely the coldest bruh now. My wife is a nurse and the children are 8 and 6. I am looking forward to getting back to the southeast within the next 5 years.

There were so many funny moments. Chillin with Lanard and Joe Pepper(Tooter). Pledging HLS, Running Track my senior year, sitting in the common area trippin out with the whole crew, going to the away games in my moms car with Lanard-following the Chearleaders! My first drink of that dreaded Red Bull after playing basketball in 100 degree heat. Gervey Sistrunk had these huge warm cans and we all chugged it then got sick, That damn song that Marc Shuler and I made up in class about the dude with the high waters. I still remember it. Can't wait to see everyone...
