I married right out of HS but we went our different ways just a few years later. I worked with dominicks from 1987 - 1997 as a bookkeeper. I have been with my husband for 15 years married 8 of them. Keith and I brought my mother down to florida 10 yrs ago for health reasons. We picked Ocala because my sister lives in the area. Bought a 5 acre farm had horses and raised mini donkeys for 6 years. After my promotion we built a house and moved into town about 5 mins. from work.It's in the city limits so no more horses or donkeys but we have our dogs. The town reminds me alot of orland park in the old days. But it is growing fast. The area is a big horse community with alot of large farms. Mom has since passed, but the area is great and the job doesn't hurt either. I work for the Mahaffey Apartment company (Carlton Arms of Ocala)I started with them 10 years ago as a bookkeeper,then to assistant and now the big cheese since 2003. I have 860 units of apartments and about 50 employees. I love the company and I have a great team. With about 2000 residents (the kids i've never had) it is always a challenge.
