I attended Western Illinois University for 1 semester in the fall of 88 and decided I didn't like it. I moved back home and went to UCLA (University closest to La Grange Avenue) - okay Moraine Valley for 2 years and received my Associates degree. Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Psychology, hoping to complete my Masters and PhD. I moved away from the SW suburbs in 95 and lived in several NW suburbs. I met Jeff in 2000, we were married in 2002 and are now settled in Algonquin. I've been working for AT&T (hired originally by Ameritech) for 8 years and Jeff has been a mechanic for United Airlines for almost 12 years but unfortunately United Airlines is laying off a lot of mechanics in early January. I recommend everyone not to fly on United because they are outsourcing their maintenance and the last time they did that, the planes came back broken more than before. Also, they are using the excuse of oil prices which is a crock since we all know the price of gas has gone down.

Also, if anyone knows of any good maintenance/mechanical jobs up in the NW suburbs, shoot me an e-mail.

I miss pickle ball in gym class and being partners with my sister Shari and whenever I would mess up she would wack me with the paddle. I also remember how Miss Blummer was mean to us when we were freshmen but as soon as we were seniors, she loved us. I also miss working in the AV lab but not actually working - it was more like an hour of gossip time.
