I first met Lynnsey when she moved to the area and was put in my class at Ridgewood Park ES - she also moved in next door to my best friend at the time - Tracy Smith - on Indian Woods Rd. She was the editor of the Trojan Tribune my senior year - we had some great times putting together the EHS paper. I would often see Lynnsey, Jeannie Bellamy and Joleen Wytrwal playing tennis - they were the three musketeers - God Bless her family, i will always have fond memories of her smile.
I knew Shirley in JHS and we were colleagues at Fairway Markets - she never had a bad day, always had a smile on her face and her laugh was infectious. Tammy Wolfe also worked with us and when you got Shirley and Tammy laughing at the same time.........it was impossible not to join in. She will be missed, this loss makes me very sad.
Thoughts and prayers to all her family and friends.
Happy Birthday, now you are as old as me
I moved to Pine Hills in 1969, first two people i met were Dawne and her brother Jeffrey, they lived two doors down from me on Ranchwood Rd.
RIP Dawne

Yeah, blame me!!!!
Stunned to hear of Jeanne's passing. We grew up in the same neighborhood near Meadowbrook JHS and we served on the Trojan Tribune together for two years in high school. Jeanne - i called her Dorothy from time to time just to be annoying - had a heart of gold and a smile that lit up a room. Can't watch women's tennis without thinking about her, Joleen and Lynnsey hitting the ball on the courts at MJHS or Evans. RIP my friend.
Love you like a brother, first met Rick - and brothers Billy and Scotty - at the Pine Hills Boys Club when I was 10 or so. We played baseball on the same teams and against each other over the years. I was Rolling Hills he was Pine Hills LL; played against him in High School - me Apopka, he Evans.
Played softball together for a decade or more after graduation, I attended his wedding, he and his wife Kathy mine. Lost touch after I moved to West Coast in 2000, but we would touch base via social media. Last spoke with him in May when he was in Tampa to watch his beloved NY Yankees get pummelled by Tampa Bay!
Rick will be missed, thoughts and prayers to all whose lives he touched especially Kathy and Griffin. Here's a pic he sent me in 2015 - RIP friend.
