I just volunteered at the 1980 class reunion. I had a ball seeing everyone. I can't wait until ours. My goal is to beat their attendance. The more the merrier. So, everyone, reach out to everyone you know and get them to come to the reunion. Guests from other classes welcome.

School Story:

After high school, went to Valencia and went on and graduated from UCF with a BS degree in Accounting.

What did you do on Friday and Saturday nights in high school?

I worked at T. G. & Y. with some great kids from school. That was the best job!! We had so much fun. If i wasn't working, I was out on a date with Jody. Usually ending up at Burger Chef to hang out.

What do you do on Friday and Saturday nights now?

I moved to New Smyrna Beach last year and got MARRIED!! We enjoy hanging at our house on Friday Saturday night and hanging with friends.

What have you done since high school?

Well, when I graduated, I worked for a CPA firm in Downtown Orlando. I moved to Baltimore in 1988. I worked for a CPA firm there and ended up working for a large long term care company doing internal audit. I obtained an Administrators License and did some consulting in Long Term Care. Sold software to Long Term Companies and now I am implementing software. I moved back to Florida in 2008, living in West Palm. In November of 2013, I moved to Mount Dora.

I have been lucky enough to do some traveling. I have skied Vail, Killington and Steamboat Springs (although not very well, ha. Happier at the Day Spa while my friends ski). I have hiked the Grand Canyon, traveled through Arizona and visited Sedona, Painted Desert, Canyon De Chelly and the Petrified Forest. Traveled around Italy, Great Britain, London a couple of times and France. Also, spent a week in Seattle and Vancouver and went zip-lining from Grouse Mountain to Dam Mountain. I went back to Italy in October of 2010. And an Alaskan Cruise in 2012....Looking for my next adventure.

I am now living in New Smyrna Beach!! I never thought I would be here. In September 2014, I met my fiance who works for Volusia County in Law Enforcement. So, I sold my house in Mount Dora, and we bought 2 1/2 acres and we are working on getting settled. So, if you are ever in the area, look us up!!

1971 Monte Carlo my dad fixed up for Karen and I

If you could go back and do anything different in high school?

Yes

If yes, what?

Nothing specific, but it would be nice to go back now knowing what I know. It would be so great to be old and and grow young.
