Only 26 days to this wonderful weekend.How fortunate we Montrealers are that this event is taking place

right in our city.Classmates are travelling here from across Canada and the USA.We ,with the exception

of those that have family functions,should all be present to celebrate our 50th anniversary together.

So exciting to reconnect with all of you. I will be documenting the event with a video camera. So think about any great incidents or teachers or classmates that you wish to recall for posterity.

It would be nice to have reminiscences of favorie teachers and thought about the distance between then and now.

I would also love for people to post about Teachers who are no longer with us, or any who are with us who you are in contact with. We have had difficulty finding any one.

I know  Helen Mackey was very special to many of us and she had been planning to attend but sadly she passed away Dec. 1, 2012 due to a sudden heart attack. There is a memorial site for her where you can read other people's comments and add one of your own.

Hello Dear friends of OHS 1963

I wish I was celebrating with you but am travelling, learning, writing, healing in Israel and elsewhere.

I just had a little cry reading the many friends who have passed among them my detention buddy Yvonne Zsigetti and a good friend Sandra Schwartzbard who let me take a guy she was dating. 

Gary Vinegar, I see you have a daughter with the name Natalie as do I.  I remember our skating Friday night in Pratt park and have pictures of you and me in my brother's Bar Mitzvah book, as you were my date.

I am grateful for my rekindles friendship with Kathi Bailey

I am happy that Teddy, my HS boyfriend is well and happy and that we are still in each other's lives.

Abigail, so glad to hear you will be videotaping so I can see what I missed.
