Dan Patterson

Started architectural school at UT arlington September 1966. Completed December 1971. Have been practicing for 45 years. Do commerical, schools, hospitals nursing homes, institutional but no residentual. Still working. Still enjoy my work. A great deal of time now spent training the next generation.
Married Cherilyn Porter September 1969. Two daughters, see above. One grandson.
Lived in Arlington and worked in Dallas and Ft. Worth until the fall of 1980.
Moved to Odessa and worked there until July 1984 when the oil boom busted.
Fortunate to get a job in Amarillo, never planned on coming back to the Panhandle and have been here since.

When we were 9th graders some folks stloe flags and megaphones from the Tascosa cheerleaders during a home game. Remember how Tascosa beat the crap out of us all the time in football.
I DID NOT assist but ended up with a flag for a bedspread for a couple of days.
Called to Principal's Office Monday morning and was asked about stealing the flags. I truthfully told them (2 or 3 coaches Principal, Vice-Principal and others) that I did not steal the flags and megaphones. I was in the stands, saw it happen but did not participate. The flag was put on highscool student body president's front porch during the night and the issue was over after an apology to THS.
Enjoyed that.
