Ms. Sarah Alfreida “Freida” Blakeney, 52, departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007. Ms. Blakeney was born in Wewahitchka, Fla., on Nov. 15, 1954, to the late Alvester Blakeney and Ida Mae Hunter Blakeney. She was the elder of two daughters. She leaves a loving and devoted family to cherish her memory, including a son, Stacy Carlos Blakeney Sr. of Panama City, Fla.; sister, Sharron Loritta Blakeney of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandchildren, Sheira, NiAyundria and Stacy Jr.; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation for Ms. Blakeney will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 18, 2007, at the mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Darryl Stanley, senior pastor, and her uncle, Presiding Elder O.C.
