DONALD MATTHEW DREW PC Youth Killed In Crash A 16 year-old Bay High School student was killed Friday afternoon when a car rammed the motorcycle he and his companion were riding. Donald Matthew Drew of 120S \V. llth St., son of Mr. and Mrs. John \V. Drew of Panama City, was pronounced dead on arrival a t Ba y Memorial Hospital around 12:15. A passenger on the motorcycle. Charles T. Fontaine, 15, of 1600 W Beach Drive, was reported in good condition at Tyndall Air Force Base where hospital officials said he had been admitted for observation. Police said the accident occured about one block from Rutherford High School at the intersection of Evcntt Avenue and llth Street when a car driven by John Douglas Emanuel, 31, of J830 Everitt Ave., ran a light at the intersection and hit the pair, who were traveling on llth Street. Emanuel was charged with failure to yield right-of- way, police said. In addition to his parents, the deceased youngster is survived by his sister, Miss Tish Drew of Panama City; two brothers, John W. Drew of the U.S. Army and Rory Drew of Panama C i t y ; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Z. Johnson of Blountstown.
