
Earl Kenneth “Ken” Kimbrel, 52, of Panama City, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in Cameron, La. He had been a lifelong resident of Bay County. He attended Bay High School and received automobile training in St. Louis, Mo. He was employed with Diamond Services in Morgan City, La. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City. Mr. Kimbrel is survived by his mother, Lavelle W. Kimbrel of Panama City; three children, Melanie Shepherd and her husband, Brian, of Hawaii, Melissa Zion and her husband, Rick, of Panama City, Marian Kimbrel of Hawaii; and three grandchildren, Mallary Shepherd, Stefan Shepherd, and Brannon Shepherd. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Raley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Nov. 9, 2005, from 5 to 7 p.m. Those desiring may make a contribution to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church of Panama City or your favorite charity in memory of Ken Kimbrel.
