Prophet Cager Wells went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 19, 2012.

He was born on April 17, 1951 to the union of Elder Baker Wells and the late Evangelist Carrie Wells.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Elder Baker Wells; his loving wife of 31 years, Elder Ann Wells; seven children, Evangelist Shae Wells, Cager Wells, Jr., Minister Shamikka Wells, Antonio Wells, and Minister Tacara Wells, all of Panama City, FL; Minister Tanikka Wiggington of Warner Robins, Ga. and Minister Micheal (Johnitta) Wells of Tallahassee, FL; seventeen grandchildren, Viereck Jr., LaTrell, Juwuan, Cager III, Decaveon, Gabryle, Jamari, Tamari, Elijah, Thomas, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Joahnita, Kamari, Alyssa, Malachi, and Zaire; three brothers, Daniel (Sherry) Wells of Hampton, VA, Devon (Regina) Wells, and Valentino Wells; one sister, Pastor Shirley (Pastor-Carl) Jackson, all of Panama City, FL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and spiritual children from Aposolic House of Prayer 2, Inc.; two special friends, Deacon Charles Fisher and the late Elder Sheila Fisher.

Funeral services for Prophet Cager Wells will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Springfield United Methodist Church, 701 School Avenue, Panama City, FL (Across from Everitt Middle School). Host Pastor – Pastor Alan Ferguson, Evangelist Shae Wells officiating. A wake service will be today, Oct. 26, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Apostolic House of Prayer 2, Inc., 148 W. North Street, Wewahitchka, FL 32465. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Panama City, FL.
