Ruth Ann Sanders, 75, of Paoli, Indiana, joined in Celebration with Jesus on Tuesday November 17, 2020 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born February 9, 1945 in Orange County, Indiana to Bailey and Pearl Riley Roberts. She married Richard Sanders on September 23, 1966 and he survives.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George L. and Charles Roberts, and sisters Juanita Zehr and Betty Heitz.
She was a 1962 graduate of Paoli High School. Ruth Ann worked at Bob’s Superburger, Paoli Shoe Factory, and Paoli Shakeburger.
She had a special love for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth Ann enjoyed long drives, her vacation to the Smoky Mountains, and flea markets. She never missed sending anyone cards for birthdays and anniversaries, even to Germany to friends from Richard’s Army days
Survivors include:
5-Grandchildren; Racheal Sanders, Garrett (Tessa) Sanders, Michael Wisehart, Justin (Marcki) Hendricks, and Joshua (Madison) Sanders, and 8-Great-Grandchildren also survive Ruth Ann Sanders.
A public visitation will be Friday, November 20 from 4:00-7:00 PM. A private funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home located at 226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN 47454. Interment will follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery. We ask that everyone wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Desco Keith Holland, 78, of Paoli, passed away December 28 at IU Health Bedford Hospital. He was born December 21, 1942 in Paoli, to parents, Desco & Ethel (Minton) Holland. He married Thelma Switzer on January 8, 1982. He worked as a pipefitter for over 40 year and was a Member of Paoli Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He loved the lord and his family more than anything.
Survivors include:
Wife- Thelma Holland
Son- Kelly Keith Holland
Daughters- Aline Padgett, Michelle Johnson & Tina Lane
Sisters- Cindy Tracy & Betty Gaddis
6 Grandchildren
Several Great-Grandchildren
He is preceded in death by: parents, daughter- Tamela Ann Holland & sister- Judy Rae Baker
Services will be private for Desco Keith Holland.
