Hello Everyone!
Dorothy, I hope everything works out ok with your husband. You both are in our thoughts and prayers.
Lynne, yes I came up for air. Seriously these have been extremely long, long days. To top that off, as soon as i get home, the little 87 year old friend across the street, always motions for me to come visit and talk to her. She sits in her garage daily watching the cars go back and forth and just watches. Her husband passed away last December, she is very lonely. I try to call her and sit with her as much as I can. Once I am with her, she wants me there for a long time. I've been communicating with Roland's aunt in Carmel, she is not doing well and is lonely too. I love these two wonderful ladies dearly so the time that I can give them, the moments that I can give them, and the kindness that I can give them is with love and sincerity. I now that someday, we will all be in their shoes. So I say to you my classmates, if you know of someone who is alone, take just one moment of your time, talk to them, smile to them and listen to them. What you get back in return, is knowing that somehow you filled that little gap in their lives, you took the time for someone who needed someone. It's a great feeling - try it.
Oh I am so sentimental, I just love people! I should have continued the psychology classes in college and changed my major to become a psychologist.
Tom's Farm sounds wonderful to me. I am glad it is on a Saturday - November 22. Love that place! Go there a lot.

Lynne count me in! Is this just for the ladies or can the gentlemen come too? One thing pretty cool there, on Saturdays a lot of people showcase their Harley's. (some beauties). Since it will be close to Christmas, there will be lots of vendors outdoors selling items as well as in the shops. You can even venture to the wine and cheese tasting, you can purchase just about anything you want. There is a candy store, veggie/fruit department. Lynne, there is a Mexican Restaurant as well as the hamburger stand with the great onion rings. Let's just say you sure won't starve to death. Oh, I almost forgot, there is a huge pond with ducks. At times there are performers singing (lots of western music).
Everyone, have a wonderful weekend and thanks for taking the time to keep in touch!
Your friend always,
Lorene
