Peggy Steiner Miller

After graduation, I went to work for Jim Snow Ford as a file clerk & while there learned the service cashier, parts department and then the body shop secretary position - the body shop was my favorite and stayed there 2 years and then went to Cosmetology school, but after it was all said and done hated it. I spent 3 months in Switzerland with family and when I finally came home went back to work at a chevrolet dealership. And also attended Cerritos College at night - for several years, couldn't make up my mind what I wanted to do in the work force, and went right back into automotive industry. In '73 I married and then divorced in '84. I remarried in November '87 to Stuart, who was a blind date and a dare from my friend Dave Murphy. My saying was I would never marry again, and it was the best thing ever, Stu's a wonderful husband. I stayed working for dealerships in the body shop and then finally became an independent auto adjuster until we moved in July of 2000 to Las Vegas. I've been working for the cable company since 2003 in the Residental New Construction department. Retirement doesn't look like it is in the near future.

We are raising our 9 year old grandson Jake. He is such a joy to have, I guess the empty nest syndrome must have something to do with it. We are really blessed and Jake is so happy to be with us.

I really don't have any school stories. I was pretty quiet and shy in school. But I do remember I got busted by Pat Hamilton when her brother Larry and I ditched school one day. Thanks Pat - just kidding we deserved getting caught and your brother Larry was a nut.
It was so nice to see everyone at the reunion only wish that I was able to visit with more of you.
