I believe that is Steve Rude from our class. He was in town from Arizona a few years ago and I had lunch with him and his mother. When he excused himself from the table his mother told me he had cancer and was not sure how long he had. He was a good man, a good friend in school and I am sure he will be missed by many..........

I saw Steve a few years ago.  He called me and was going to be in town and wanted to have lunch.  We had been friends in at school for many years but drifted apart, as so often happens.  We went to lunch and he suprised me by bringing his mother who wanted to see me and had a chance to catch up on life.  He was living in Arizona at the time.  When Steve excused himself to use the restroom his mother told me he had cancer and was not sure how long he had.  We never spoke of it but had a wonderful time remembering the past.  He was a good man and a good friend, I wish we would have stayed closer over the years.  He will be missed.
