I was lucky to have known Jim. It wasn't until our senior year that I got to know him well. He invited me over for dinner a few times and we stayed up into the morning hours talking about our lives, and our futures (after a few beers).  He was kind hearted, well liked, had a dry sense of humor, was a very good basketball and baseball player.  We didn't see or talk very often after graduation but when we did it was as if time hadn't passed.  God Bless Jim, those he loved and those who loved him.
