Hello Classmates,

Just a note to remind everyone that our first year of using the class website is just about up, and we will soon need to fund it for next year. I'm guessing that everyone is enjoying it enough to keep it going. The cost is $120, and Doug Worthington will be billed around June 1st. Last year, twelve (12) classmates each contributed $10 to the cause, so I'm hoping that this year maybe twelve different classmates could pitch in $10 each. The previous contributors were:
Sid Tate, Emil Cook, Alex Shipp, Bette Scott, Cheryl Dryden, Dudley Crouch, Jane Maguire, Stanley Jordan, Harrison Rankin, Steve Lewis, Marilyn Bannister, and myself. Do I hear any volunteers?! If so, please e-mail me, and when I've heard from 12 of you, I'll let you know. You can then send me your check, and I will write one to Doug. My address is: 512 Shagbark Trail, Richmond, KY 40475. Thanks a lot. Marilyn Frye Roberts

Doug, I just now read this message and am figuring that you probably already got your 12 responses.  So, keep me in mind for next year.  You will have to remind me though because, unfortunately,  my memory is getting shorter as I get older.

My favorite teacher was Mr. Robert Turner.  He was so professional and respectful in his approach to teaching us.  He expected a lot and encouraged learning history.  He was as good as any college professor I ever had.  We had great teachers at PHS and I have always appreciated the educational preparation I received through that experience.

Everyone,

My sister-in-law Pat Cook passed away 4/2/2012 @ 3:30pm. She fought a tough fight with cancer and survived 2&1/2 years longer than origionally diagnosed. Many of you knew my brother Proctor who passed away in 2000.
