Susan Belle Taylor Horn, 70, beloved wife of Bascom Horn, passed away on January 3, 2019. She was born March 10, 1948 in Nicholas County, KY. She was a graduate of Paris High School, the Appalachian School of Practical Nursing, and was a retired LPN. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jonathan D. Horn, her daughter, Jennifer Horn McBrayer; two grandsons, Bradley Aaron McBrayer and Jackson Douglas McBrayer; two sisters, Bonnie (Maurice) Lykins and Sally (Wesley) Thurmond; and one brother, Joseph B. (Bonnie) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Josephine Taylor, and her son-in-law, Douglas John McBrayer. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Parkway Baptist Church, Lexington. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 12:00 with a memorial service at 12:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor and memory to Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA) or Parkway Baptist Church. Care Cremation and Funeral Service are entrusted with final care.
