Served in Army Medical Corps (overseas duty) to rank of Captain. Retired from college professor, dean, president in 1996. Author of 4 books. Earned 2 doctorates and one honorary doctorate. Served on 37 college accreditation teams. Founded first Jewish school permitted in USSR in 1993. It is still operating. Was involved in professor exchange in Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Khurgistan, Khazakstan, Israel, Philippines, S. Korea, China, etc. I sing in a barbershop quartet
