Frank, I think that the reason I enjoyed golf, even though I wasn't good at it, is that I never thought of myself as playing against others. In fact, it is against the rules to block or interfere with another player's shot. I always looked at it as playing against my previous scorecard. And it's an excellent sport for camaraderie. (and beer drinking) lol.

Jim, what do you mean, that's not the way golf is scored. It always worked well for me. lol. (smart ass) lol.

Just heard an interview with the sheriff of Brevard County Florida speaking about Crocket and Chicago's mayor. He commented that common sense has been chasing them all of their lives, but they have managed to outrun it. Classic and so true of most of the leftist. Don't dems ever get tired of complaining about everything this administration does. Somehow, I hope Trump makes an Executive Order that breathing is good for you.

Lester, common sense? I think that has become a myth, although some of us still believe in it.

On the subject of Golf, I used to play an 18 hole Course in California City, Ca. that was an 18 Hole Course, and being in a desert clime, had its share of Ground Squirrels friendly little animals, but they borrow their own litle homes on Golf Courses because of the abundance of grass, and other Foliage that Golfers expect on a Golf Course. A friend of mine, Steve Blankenbiller, (yes, he is German) was driving the ball on the 16th Hole, which was on the last 3 holes heading towards the Club House, headed East. This was a 425 yard Par Four, and had its share of the cute little Ground Squirrels with their little Dens sprinkled on places where there was some extra vegetation. One was standing about 100 yards away from our Tee Box where we would start the hole with our Drives. Steve was teed up, and practiced his rather unorthodox swing, that was a swinging back, and then doing a double kind of a dip for want of a better description, and usually on the second dip he would then bring the club forward towards the teed up ball, and give it a very good thwack, and he could really get ahold of it when he hit it 'Square on the Screws" as the Scottish say, when one hits the Driver well. Wihout a doubt, Steve really got all he could muster on this particular Drive, the Crack of Club hitting Ball was loud, like a Gunshot, and the ball went in a low flying straight line to our observing Friendly Little Ground Squirrel. I watched the Ground Squirrel with dismay, and shock because that Squirrel's Little Rodent Face went from innocence to Shock, and a split second later, Steve's Ball landed Square in the Ground Squirrel's midsection, and it was similar to a Scene from the Movie "Tombstone" the ball hit the Squirrel so hard it knocked the Squirrel backwards, where it lay for just a split second writhing in pain, its tiny paws clutching the Golf Ball, then it let out a very high pitched Squeal that almost sounded like it said "You Got Me" and dove into its little home, probably expiring shortly thereafter.

"STEVE, YOU'VE MURDERED THAT GROUND SQUIRREL, YOU ANIMAL, BRUTE, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF, GROUND SQUIRREL KILLER"  I used this to destroy the Might of his Drives off the Tee, for he could sometimes outdrive me for distance, and every psychological advantage was necessary to disrupt a fellow competitior. I should have got him a Tee Shirt that said 'GSM" FOR GROUND SQUIRREL MURDERER. But I am too Cheap for such Theatrics.

Sorry, but: Back to politics. (I'd rather be playing golf)' But Kaitlin Collins, a White House correspondent for CNN, said there is no motive for the accused shooter to shoot Charlie Kirk. Sen. Ted Cruz, a guest on her show, set her straight on that. The murderer told his boyfriend (the one pretending to be a woman) that he was tired of his (Charlie Kirk's) hate. So he takes his .O6 and, from a rooftop at the rally, murders him in cold blood. Does anyone see the problem here? There may be some hatred on the right, but the left seems to have their own patented version of it.

Today is Charlie Kirk's funeral in my hometown. It is a solemn day for Phoenix, the country, and the world. May he rest in peace, and may his wife carry on his legacy.

Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika, made a very important and moving speech tonight, and she is continuing Turning Point as the CEO and outlined what the organization would do, which is to carry on his Work. Tulsi Gabbard made a very moving statement in hinor of Charlie Kirk. I am glad, and can now see clearly why Tulsi Gabbard left the Democratic party when she did. She indicated that Charlie Kirk's mission was to help the young men such as the one who assassinated him. She stated that she Forgives the young man, for Charlie Kirk believed that as a Christian the Bible teaches us not to Hate, but to Love our Enemies, and Forgive those who wrongfully use us. For me, that's a damned Tall Order.

The Summer Blend Scam.  I just drove through Phoenix.  Regular Gas at Costco was $3.59.  In Pagosa it's $3.19 which is up $.20 in the last month.  It's the first time I have seen the prices lower in Pagosa.  By the way, it's $2.85 in Gallup, N.M.

Michael. Right on about Erika Kirk. I think she will be a powerful voice to continue Charli's work.

Frank, around here, we don't fall for the summer scam. You can get ethinal if you want to pay a little more, but you can still get the regular gas without it. The price at Walmart here is around $2.59,

We were on a plane most of yesterday, I wish we could have seen the memorial, especially Erika Kirk, she is one tough lady, I wish her and her children well.

The Beer Summit is on my calendar, October 30 at 4.30. Patty, you did miss a wonderful memorial for Charlie Kirk. My eyes were watering throughout the whole event. Yes, Erika is an amazingly strong woman.

Gas prices In Tucson, tregular gas price at a regular gas station is $3:19. In Phoenix it is $3:58. I don't get it and have heard no logical explanation, why.😡

Just 4 or 5 days ago regular gas at Safeway was $3.95/gal.  I was able to use some points and got it down to $3.75.  I wonder why AZ residents aren't screaming about this?

The Charlie Kirk Memorial was incredible!  What the hell is wrong with Democrats?

Oops! I reread my post. Regular gas is $3.85 at Fry'shere in phoenix and $3.19 in Tucson? Outrageous.

Now a Waco who wanted to kill ICE Officers has killed two Illegal Aliens and wounded another.  Crazy!

Frank, if they want to kill off each other, then I say let them at it. No, that's not the way I really feel. Murder is murder, no matter which side it comes from. I'm just musing.

Tulsi Gabbard just  dumped it right in the Lap of all the MAinstream Media the Truth via Documents made public of Barack Hussein Obama attempt to overthrow the Presidency of Donald J. Trump in 2017 through 2021 by Falsely Accusing Trump of Conspiring with  Putin to keep Hillary Clinton from being President in that same Term. The members of the Mainstream Media are bleating like wounded Hogs mainly because they got "Duped" by their hero. Obama. Barack should be getting Arrested soon unless he flees to a Foreign Country, lke maybe Kenya, the place of his Birth. If you want to see if Obama gets arrested and prosecuted it may run afoul of a recent Supreme Court Ruling that was made about Trump's own Immunity from Prosecution while a :President. That Ruling may be distinguishable however, because Trump was not charged with Treason as Obama should be.

Back to Fractured Fairytales and Dr. Peabody and his Boy Sherman.

Comey indicted!!

09/26/25 12:09 PM #15469

Comey, a Master of Theatre, was on Television today, and you could almost see a miniature Violinist on his Shoulder playing sorrowfully in accompaniment to Comey's Sad Tale of Woe, concerning his Indictment. Tears were flowing, flowing, flowing as he expounded upon his Tale of Woe. They didn't show it, but he mentioned more than once that his Dog had distracted him as he played his part in concocting the phony evidence against Donald J. Trump, Damned Dog anyway. He didn'tr say so, but it sounded like he must have sent the Dog packing as punishment for causing Comey to engage in a phony application for a Warrant with the FISA Court. Actually, there 3 Applications.

But, as in most Deflection of Blame to the Other Guy Stories, Comey got caught in what seemed to be a Lie, upon a Previous Lie, when he was Quiestioned by Senator Lindsay Graham. For his part, Sen. Graham was as usual, skillful in his questioning of Comey, and the Dog was no longer available as a Foil so to speak, and Comey's delicate stack of Cards came all a tumbling down down down. Shattered Comey was. Today, he was still maintaining though,? Long, sad Faced Comey, miniature Violinist still playing, reciting his Tale of Woe, What to do? Maybe get another Dog.

Lefty.  Your last post....VERY clever!  I hope the DOJ has it's head and ass wired together.  If not, the left will crow for years.

I don't know if you watched the Ryder Cup but some of the American fans embarrassed me.  Cheering is fine, booing is done but not good sportsmanship.  Dropping F-bombs at the competitors (golfers) is totally unacceptable.  Some A-hole actually threw a drink at Rory and hit Rory's Wife in the head after he was done with his round.  I think the Ryder Cup committee should come out after golf today or tomorrow and announce the tournament will never return to New York.  Maybe that would send a message to future sites that bad behavior won't be tolerated!

COURTESY.  Seems, for a certain segment of "people" to be a thing of the past....right Frank?

I can't help but point out the obvious.  The "people" from predominately Blue States...Sanctuary States...Sanctuary Cities...democrat side of the ledger seem to be the ones who cause the most violence and problems in the country.  Sure, there are exceptions, but look at the obvious.  Look at Congress.  Hell, I find myself rooting for Fetterman.  The "left" seems to hate our country and everything it stands for.  Now we have a socialist running for and probably will be elected mayor of New York City.

I'm glad I've rounded third and headed for home.  I'm not sure I would want to spend another 40+ years here.

Frank W/  I just  read what you wrote about the hijinks that took place at the Ryder Cup, and it sounded to me like there should have been imbedded 275 FBI Agents there, of couirse, nowadays that wouldn't happen since we have a Real Person who is in Charge at the FBI.

What kind of Idiots do we have running around nowadays that they don't even have a Sense of Dignity enough not to hit Rory McElroy's wife in the head with Snow Cone or whatever, Now of course we know that like an AR 15 the Snow Cone is too blame, damn that nasty old Snow Cone. My Father wouldnt tolerate Rudeness in a Man and my Golf Clubs would have disappeared for a year or more for a Dumb Stunt like that. There is an Element of Society missing that if we don't get it back, Society will not survive. That is an ironclad set of Manners, where if you don't like something, you at least can refrain from Idiocy both in Word and Deed.I guess they don't teach this in School anymore, preferring Gender Mutilation instead.

The New York Appelllate Court threw out in its entirety the 527 Million Dollar Verdict against Donald J. Trump that the AG of NY Letitiia James was able to Scam a Jury into believing, along with a so called Judge. This Penalty was based upon Punitive Damages for Fraud. Good  News. Puzzling is that the Court said that Trump had tried to Defraud the Lenders who loaned him the money, but that doesn't follow the Law either, for to Defraud someone, the alleged Victim has to actually Believe your misrepresentations, and Rely upon such to the Victims Harm. The Victims, Loaning Committees all testified they were not mislead by Trump, and would Loan him Money again. Jim Coats  explained this to all of us last year and very plainly so that even I could understand it. But maybe the NY Appellate Court wants to see Trump take this even Further in the Legal System, to prevent more people like Letitiia James from getting "too Big in the Britches' about their Governmental Positions. I wonder???

I am SO DISAPPOINTED that Trump is making his speech to senior military leaders about himself.  Yes....he IS a narcissist on steroids.  He is wasting the time of all those war fighters.  Thank GOD I can love his policies, because I sure hate his bloviating.  Apparently there is no one close to him who can say "Get to the point...shut up...and sit down!"

In defense of Trump....MOST if not ALL of the great leaders were narcissists because they had to be extremely self-confident and committed.  We NEED a strong SOB as Commander in Chief, but I get very weary sometimes.
