Judy Chesser Lewis

Married very young to a man I dated during high school (passed away at age 45). Married two more times unsuccessfully. I then was single for over 20 years concentrating on my career as a Human Resources Analyst for AZ DPS. I retired young and have worked at different jobs and at age 73, I got a very fulfilling job as a Social Worker. I have traveled the world with my daughter who is a flight attendant and have lived in North Carolina. Oregon, and San Diego. In 2016 I traveled to Mexico to visit a friend and was introduced to a very nice gentleman who I corresponded with for a year and married in 2017. He is now living with me in Glendale, Az. We also have a casita in Mexico. My son died, unexpectedly, of a brain aneurysm which was devastating and taught me to live every day with love and kindness towards everyone.

Started my freshman year at West High as many of us did and changed to Alhambra High the first year it opened. I was very shy and appreciated anyone who would sit beside me in the cafeteria. I was not one of the “in crowd” but mostly concentrated on my studies. I was a member of the National Honor Society and joined Girls League and a couple of other clubs. I was approached by Bob Wilcox Photography Studio to model for several ads. I had went to modeling school and was also a model for a swimming pool company which published ads in the AZ Republic and Phoenix Gazette. My modeling career and further educational goals were cut short by my early pregnancy and marriage.
