Lived on 5 continents; acquired dual British/Australian citizenship; worked in London and Paris for 20 years; retired to the Jurassic Coast and now live in blissful Dorset (Thomas Hardy country).
My favourite teacher was Mr Killian. He filled me with a love for literature and an appreciation of many great American writers, including Gore Vidal, Steinbeck and Salinger.
