55+1 Reunion: A New Plan & Date
Dear 67ers

We hope this posting finds you healthy, happy and hopeful for the new year. We want to let you know that we have a change of plans for our next class reunion originally set for October 2022. The new plan is to push it back a year and gather in October of 2023!  Here are the new arrangements:

Date: Saturday, October 7, 2023 late afternoon into the evening.

PlacePiedmont Community Hall right by the park and the stores

Set up: Very casual, catered heavy finger food & drink, inside & outside seating, recorded music, short  program,  class photo.

We are also exploring the possibility of making this into a joint reunion with several other PHS classes. And we will also be encouraging additional self-organized activities during that weekend.  It should be a really fine and fun time to be together again.

We will keep you up to date with more plans and arrangements  in the coming months. In the meantime please don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions and comments. If you are interested in joining our committee, just drop a note to one of us. We would welcome your help!

So be sure to mark your calendars and update your profiles on this website.

Healthy, Happy, Hopeful Holiday Season
Dear '67 Mates,

Fall has now turned to winter and the 2021 holiday season is in full swing. And we want to take this opportunity to wish you once again a happy, healthy and hopeful holiday. Similar to last year, this is certainly a time for reflection as we look back on another immensely challenging year for our families, communities and country.  But we are encouraged too on the promising progress toward recovery and renewal on several fronts.

So this is also a time to take a hopeful look ahead and prepare for the journey of 2022 and beyond.

Please know that we find comfort in staying in touch with you, our friends from long ago... whether it be in-person, virtually or through social media. May this continue in the days and months ahead!

Please stay safe, stay well, and, for sure, stay in touch. Happy Holidays!

Supporting One Another

Dear '67 Mates,

Our hopeful thoughts are with you and your families during this challenging period of unprecedented disruption and uncertainty in our country and around the world. We hope that you are managing this pandemic crisis in safe and healthy ways within your communities and that your friends and loved ones are doing OK. No doubt many of us are dealing with multiple levels of stress and concern within of our professional and personal situations.

This indeed is a time to come together to calm and support one another even while we are into  social distancing and self-isolating predicaments. And for this reason, we want to invite you to stay in touch via email, on our Facebook page, or through a newly created Class Discussion Forum on this web site.  We hope you will find added solace by sharing your stories, perspectives and ideas with your long-ago classmates, many of whom you may have already experienced other national crises such as those very difficult times in November of 1963.

We look forward to hearing back from you. Please don’t hesitate to contact any one of us with your stories, thoughts and suggestions.

Stay safe and stay healthy,
