Hmm, let's see. Got my doctorate in English. Worked as a professional musician. Got married. Got divorced. Got dogs. A lot of work in theatre, university, stock, and professional. Ranking black belt in tkd. Dropped acid. Acid dropped me. Worked as an actor on a cruise ship. Ballroom dancer (mostly American Rhythm). Tenured faculty member at a university. Founding member of a professional theatre company, currently the Artistic Director. Done a few indie films, one of which got a national release. If I can think of other stuff, I'll come back and add it....

The second is me as Sir Toby in Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT (December 2007). So that's me ACTING drunk, not ACTUALLY drunk, lmao!

Yeah, how about the time the band director MADE me walk in front of the band itself and try to conduct--and I did a SPOT ON imitation of the dude. Even then, it generally wasn't a good idea to challenge me....

And here's something else--during our senior year, there was an ongoing game at recess, a mixture of soccer, rugby, and football, no rules, a lot of tackling. I remember it vividly because it was utopian--kids who would NEVER otherwise have mixed were out there on the field in full contact and it was okay. And then the school officials shut it down....

That was back before I could fully articulate the REASONS I couldn't stand high school administrators (or ANY administrators for that matter). Now they all come through my classes at the university--control freaks, every one of them, lol.
