The following was posted on FB by Gloria's son William Lewis

"For those of you who don't know already, my mom passed away last Friday about 11 A.M.

It's hit me a bit harder than I was expecting so please forgive me for not letting you all know until now. I've been in a kind of fog and have had little to no interest in getting on FB until today, but wanted to let you all know how much she loved those of you who knew her and thank you all that have sent those kind messages to me and our family.

She didn't want to have a big funeral service (just small with immediate family) and asked to be cremated so I don't have any service plans to pass on to you, but, seeing as my little brother Bob, was the light of her life and reason for being, we've decided to put her ashes with him in "Garden Of Memories Cemetery" in Kerrville and she will be found there in the near future if you would like to visit her and/or pay your respects.

I love you, mom, and know you're finally happy and at peace with Bob. Thank you for being such a wonderful mother and I'll miss you always."
