"50 Year Class Reunion!!!

Just 16 days to go and we've been overwhelmed by the number of registrations!!! It looks like we're going to have a great reunion!

If you're still on the fence about coming ... I want you to know that I felt the same way before I attended the "All School Reunion" in 2010. It was my first reunion to attend and I had a great time!

My sister had her "50th" Reunion (Class of '62) last October. It was her first reunion and she was so apprehensive about attending she made me promise (a year ahead of time) to go with her as her guest. I did ... and I had another great time! I knew as many people there as she did.

She's now looking forward to the next reunion and declares she won't miss another one!

If you don't attend ... we'll still have a great reunion ... but it won't be as good as it could have been ... if you're not there!!! I promise you'll really enjoy it and you'll be glad that you came!

"Upcoming Deadlines"

Reservations for the Homecoming game as well as the banquet at the Elk's Lodge will be accepted only until Wednesday, October 9th! The registration fee is a total of $35.00 and should be mailed to:

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Friday: October 18th, 2013

We'll have a "Meet & Greet" at the Elk's Lodge, 908 N. I-27, Service Road (just north of the Ford Dealership) from 6:30 to 7:00 P.M. (Lite refreshments will be served and they'll be a Cash Bar).

The PHS Bulldogs will be playing the San Angelo Chiefs at 7:30 P.M. It's Plainview's "Home Coming" and the "Power House of the Plains" Band will perform at the half. Many of you will want to go to the game and Marilyn will have tickets for the game at the Elk's Lodge. All of our tickets will be grouped together for the Class of '63 ... so please let Marilyn know if you want tickets. We'll return to the Elk's Lodge after the game.

For those not going to the game ... you can remain at the Elk's Lodge to visit, dance (if you're able) & enjoy music.

(Dig out your scrapbooks, old school pictures, memorabilia, etc. and bring em along. There'll be a table set up for display.

Saturday: October 19th, 2013

10:00 A.M. - Tour at PHS

11:00 A.M. - Tour the Granada & Fair Theaters

12:00 P.M. -We'll have lunch at Furr's Cafeteria, 3605 Olton Rd which will be "Dutch Treat"

2:00 to 6:00 P.M. - You'll be on your own. There are a lot of places of interest listed on the brochure you recieved in the mail. Take some time to look around ... shop ... and restore some memories. The "Running Water Draw Art's & Crafts Show" will be going on at the Ollie Liner Center on South Columbia that same weekend. It's sponsored by the Plainview Rotary Club and they always have a large turnout of artists and craftsmen from several states.

6:00 P.M. - We'll meet again at the Elk's Lodge for the "Class Picture" ... followed by Dinner at 7:00 P.M. and a "Memorial Service".

"TURNER CROSSING" with Martin Duckett & Susan Browning will be the evening's entertainment ... which you're sure to enjoy!
