Obituary for Roy Washington Mull Sr.

Our gracious God took His child, Roy W. Mull Jr. (80) of Lubbock, Texas, home on October 26, 2024, just three weeks after his beloved wife Paula's passing.

Roy was born June 15, 1944 in Plainview, TX to Roy Mull Sr. and Loraine Mull. Roy did many things in his life... growing up farming, spending time as a working cowboy breaking and riding horses, proudly serving his country in the Army during the Vietnam War, and working as a pipeline welder and later as a truck driver. Though these things were important to him, they pale in comparison to his love for his family. Roy was a great husband to his wife Paula, a proud father to his three children, a very proud "Pee-Paw" to his seven grandchildren, and was very close with his brother, three sisters, and many nephews and nieces.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents Roy Sr. and Lorraine Mull, wife Paula Mull, daughter Tracey Gault, and sisters Linda Scott and Genie Hewitt. He is survived by his loved ones... son Jason Mull and wife Poppi, son John David Mull and wife Stephanie, brother Marshall Mull and wife Candi, sister Georgia Procter and husband Alvin, as well as his seven grandchildren, Jacob Gault, and the Mull's - Gavin, Payton, Caleb, Halley, Ryleigh, and Jonah. Roy also has a large extended family he dearly loved. Both Jason, and John David would like to give a special thank you to his #1 niece Bilinda Procter and her husband Robert, as well as #1a neice Barbie Pope, who were the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to Roy in his final years.
