Karen Davene Haydon

Funeral services for Karen Davene Tilson Hayden, 56, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Methodist Church with the Dr. Max Browning Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Haydon died at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at her residence. She was born Oct.16, 1944 in Fort Worth. She graduated from Plainview High School in 1963, and attended West Texas State University. On Nov. 23, 1963 she married Larry Haydon in Plainview. Larry died July 22 1985. In 1976 she moved to San Angelo and returned to Plainview in 1995. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, Ladies Gold Association, First United Methodist Church and the Pastors Class. She was the first girl in 4-H to show club calves in Plainview. Survivors include one daughter; Lori Lee Lovell of Lubbock; her parents W.B. and Cleo Tilson of Plainview; a sister Kaylene Ramsey of Plainview; one grand child; one great grandchild; and friends Linda Bllingsley and Patsy Lemons Culp, both of Plainview. A daughter Holly Davene Haydon, and a brother Larry Kent Tilson, are deceased.
