Richard Terrence Lubinus, 62, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the Platte Health Care.
Since 1975 he taught ag and shop at the Platte-Geddes High School, FFA instructor and activities announcer at PHS. He received the outstanding Vo-Ag teacher in 1984, Ag-Ed Club Teacher of the year in 1992.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to develop a scholarship within agricultural in honor of Richard Lubinus.
The Class of 1978 is taking donations for the new Platte Track.
Ray student taught under Richard Lubinus and my dad worked with him at Platte, so I would vote for his memorial. Track is OK too. My sisters did OK in that area and my dad loves to watch meets.
