Following graduation I attended Presentation College in Aberdeen. Graduated May of 1981. Moved from Aberdeen to Yankton to work as a nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital and continue my education during the year that I lived in Yankton I was able to be part of moving to a newly built hospital. In the summer of 1982 I moved back to Aberdeen to work at Dakota Midland Hospital, I worked there until May of 1988, when the hospital cloesed. At that time I decided that I need a life and career change. I picked up and moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to work at Poudre Valley Hospital. In June of 2008 I reached my 20 yr anniversary. I work in a Pre-Post Cardiac Cath Lab. Poudre Valley Hospital built a new sister Hospital (Medical Center of the Rockies) we moved to this new facility Feb 14,2007. Few nurses have the pleasure of moving into a new hospital I did it twice.

When I moved to Colorado I certainly did not think that this would become my home. In the following 4 yrs Jim (brother) and family and Jackie (sister) moved to Colorado. We live about 15 mins from each other. Who woulda thought...

In October of 2000 I met Chick Cavallero, that pretty much sealed the deal that I would live here forever. We were pretty much a match made in heaven. Chick-n-Patti you can't make that up. We make our home in Severance, Colorado. where the geese fly and the bulls cry. Home of Bruces's specialize in Rocky Mountain Oysters

I pretty much work so that we can play. Grandpa is kiddo's daycare T-W-TH

We spend much of our free time attending and listening to Blues music. We love the all day outdoor events. Kids and grands often attend with us.
