Tell us who and what you are all about.

I work in Brookings, SD, at an eye dr's office, Dr Jason Jahn & he has another dr there that is a relative of my husbands Dr. Jones. My husband still works for 3M. We enjoy our acreage that we have lived in for about 2 yrs. We get out fishing once in awhile. I like to go for walks or do crafts,draw, & write poems. I get out occasionally with friends or family or co-workers, but not as much as I would like. We do some traveling when we can get away. I go to Sioux Falls when I can to see Ashley & her boyfriend Todd.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

I see Jane, Bev & Vicky. We even managed to get away to Sioux Falls a couple of times, which I really enjoyed. We also keep in touch with email, otherwise about the only time I see anyone else is if I manage to make it back to Platte.

How often do you get back to Platte?

Not very much now that my parents & step mom have passed away.

What did you do right after Highschool?

I went to 1yr of college in Madison, & I got married had my daughter Januari, got divorced, moved to Brookings. Got married in 1986 to Dennis, & 12 months later had another daughter Ashley. We lost our daughter Januari in June of 2000, she was only 18. We bought & my husband pretty much rebuildt, with alittle of my help the house we moved into about 2yrs now.

What do you do now?

I work for an eye doctor which I have done for twenty some yrs, but at this office only about nine. For the most part I love my job and my co-workers are great! I try to get to the gym a few times a week. I really enjoy being at home & relaxing with my husband.

What did you want to do or think that you were going to do after highschool?

I really did not have any real high goals, mainly just wanted to be a wife & mom. I just sort of fell into my career goals & found out I really enjoy it.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

My husband & I do an anual fishing tournament in Mobridge every June, otherwise just hang out on my porch.

Do you like to travel? Where was the last place you went?

Yes, I do not as much as I would like. The last trip I took with my sister, sister-in-law's & nieces was we went to California, last May.

I love Florida by the beach, otherwise just sitting on my swing on my wrap around porch.
