I got married to Mr. Wrong shortly after school. We had our beautiful daughter, Marissa and three years later our daughter Cierra RaNae... who passed away. Unfortunately our marriage crumbled. So we went our seperate ways. I began working at Quebecor World in Mt. Morris and also doing a lot of charity work. Eventually I met my husband, Rob. We've been married for 6 yrs now.
I became the Secretary-Treasurer of my Union 6 years ago. About a year later our Union merged with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. I am also the Sec-Treas of the Midwest Conference and the Sec-Treas of the Allied Trades Council. So... yeah I keep busy :) This position (job) has given me opportunities to travel to places I normally would never have been to. And for as much as I work, I actually do like what I do - so that helps :)
I live in Mt. Morris in my husbands grandmothers house. We are the third generation to live in this house so it's very special to us. My daughter lives with her dad. She's a daddy's girl. Hmm... don't know WHERE she got that! ha ha! So it's just Rob and I and our beagle Zeke. We have dreams of renovating our house and I am always in the yard doing different things. I love to work in the yard. Very theraputic!
I am all about sports... still. Love to watch the Packers and the Cubs. I try to go to a few Cubbie games each year. I went to Green Bay a few years back to see them play against Chicago. That was GREAT!!
My parents and one sister and two step-brothers still live in Polo so I get over that way every now and then. Like Mt. Morris and Polo are so far away from each other right? Well it can be when you're busy!
I can't think of much else to put in here. I work a ton of hours each week so when I get 'downtime' I like to enjoy it! Am in the process of trying to figure out vacation times this year as we speak :) I'll be doing some traveling for work so I have to figure that into mix as well. A week in Florida sounds good right about now :)
I am looking forward to seeing everyone in June!
