With both of us retired we spend more time at our cabin at Wauna Lake. We travel to Wauna every summer and spend at least a month enjoying life in the Northwest.
We enjoy traveling and have spent many times in Europe. We have had the good fortune to have lived in Greece and Italy and will continue to travel in the years ahead.
Now that our son and family live in New Zealand we make yearly trips traveling to Wellington.
School Story:

Looking back over the years at Grant one realizes what an easy time it was to be in high school. I enjoyed the daily walks to and from school, the trips to Seaside for Spring vacation, and the Friday night outings in Pat's rumble seat. The Saturday trips to Government Camp, hitch hiking to Timberline, and skiing down the trail. The stories, laughs, and music were so much a part of our times together. One of the most memorable times for me was Graduation Night when they were handing out our diplomas. When they called my name: Eva Haugen, many laughed as I had never let anyone know that that was my first name. Of course the name EVA had always been the big joke.

After all these years it is hard for me to believe that on May 7, I will turn 83 years old! How times have changed. So many memories and wonderful adventures with my husband Roger and my children Alyssa and Kevin. We have been blessed.
