Single. One child, 2 grandchildren. Former Occupations: Insurance Agent,Coordinator of Continuing Medical Education courses at UOHSC, College Administrator

Although currently retired, I worked at Lewis and Clark College for 15 years, the last 7 as Director of Continuing Professional Education. I was also a Conference Coordinator at the Office of Continuing Medical Education at UOHSC and am a licensed insurance agent and sold property and casualty insurance for 6 years. I also worked on the UCLA campus during the turbulent 1960's and 70's

I have one son who is a 4/5 teacher for Portland Public Schools, a grandson age 4 and a granddaughter age 12. Besides my family and travel, most of my time is currently spent doing volunteer work. I serve as a Mentor to women leaving Coffee Creek Correctional Institution, helping them re-enter society. I have been a Hospice volunteer for 18 years as well as serving on the Speakers Bureau for Providence/ St.,Vincent Hospice. I serve as an advocate for seniors at Elders in Action and as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) which involves advocating for abused and neglected kids through the Juvenile Court system. I am also a leader for college and high school kids at my church. For fun, I like to travel, do Yoga, meditate, garden, eat good food and make people laugh

I look back on my years at Grant with fondness and have great compassion for the girl I was then. I had a lot of fun particularly with my drama buddies and seem to have weathered the emotional roller coaster that defines these years. I have connected with quite a few people and would love to hear from more.
