Hello former classmates. After high school I married Richard Mohawk and we remain married and the best of friends. Together we have three daughters and six grandchildren. Richard and I live in the heart of the Sierra Mountains in Quincy, California, on a tree-lined mountain road. It is a peaceful and beautiful place to be. Having grandkids is the best and there is generally one here staying the night or hanging out with friends. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from Sacramento State and love Social Work. Currently I am Deputy Director for the Plumas County Department of Social Services, where I am directly responsible for Child Welfare, Adult Protective Services and In-Home Health Services. While I see the toll of human suffering, I am forever inspired by the human spirit! Rich and I have had the opportunity over the past thirty-nine years, to raise a family; pursue individual and educational goals; travel; and spend time with our precious family and friends. It is my hope that each of you have followed your own path after high school and found your own ideals, goals, and life endeavors. It is always a gift to hear from fellow classmates from Carbon High.
