Well I have been up to a lot. I got Married in April 1986 and worked with my father-in-law putting fence up along the highways, I worked all over the state of Utah. I found out at the age of 2 I was a diabetic, most people didn't know that. I had to take an Insulin shot every day from the time I was 2 1/2 years old until I was 27. In my senior year of high school I stated having eye problems. I had the start of Diabetic Retnaopathy and had a partly detached retina and had to have lazer treatments in both eyes over several years. I lost my vision in the left eye back in 1983. In Nov of 1987 I found out that I had some heart problems, and in Aug of 1988 I was working in Beaver Utah and had just got back to my trailer were I was staying when I had some chest pains, so I drove myself to the Beaver hospital and walked in and told them I was having a heart attack. They transported me to Utah Valley Regional and two days later I had 4 by pass surgery on the heart. I also have had several angioplasties. I seemed to be doing ok from that and went back to work, and in May 1991 found out my kidneys were shutting down. They told me I would need a transplant. I started dialyses and three months later on Aug 22 of 1991, I had a kidney/ pancreas transplant. But do to the medications from my transplant, I ended up with testiculer cancer, I also have had 10 bouts of skin cancer, and had a little bit of my left ear cut out from the skin cancer. So if you see me at the reunion don't worry it does not bother me if people look at it. I also found out my carotid arteries are blocked in the brain area and they are affraid to go in and clean them out because there would be a high chance of causeing a stroke. But am ok for now and try to keep a good attitude about things and try to enjoy life. Well that is about all I have been doing, not much lol. I got married in April of 1986 to a great gal from the big town of Monticello Utah. She means so much to me and has been by my side through all my troubles and that means alot to me. Because alot of people would have left there spouse with all I have been through. We had been married just over two years when I had my heart attack and had the two girls, Amber was just 3 months old at that time and Justina was almost 2 years. I was in the hospital recovering from heart surgary when she turned 2. If you were to see me you would not believe I have been through so much in my life. I have been told by alot of people that I am lucky to be alive. But I know I am still hear for a reason I just wish I knew what for lol. I joke around alot about things and have been told with my attitude that's why I am still hear. Because I look at things differently than most, and I am very thankful for every day. Well guess what I had some more health problems I know whats new. On November 27 of 2009 I ended up in the hospital with bleeding ulcers. They had to give me 4 pints of blood I am still low on blood but we are trying to get it up with iron pills but I am doing ok just tired and not much energy
