We lived in Grand Prairie where James was the high school/junior high choir teacher and I taught piano and organ lessons as well as the fifth grade in public school. We moved back to Quitman in 1970, where we, along with my sister, Joyce Roberts, bought Don Roberts Abstract Co. from my uncle. We ran the title co. until 1985, when we sold it to my nephew, Dick Roberts. We had a software company, doing software for title companies, and finally retired in 1988. We are enjoying our retirement, which leaves us time for yard work and hobbies. James builds furniture (the children and grandchildren keep him busy) and I manage to find plenty of things to do around here! Also, I forgot to say that I taught second grade at Quitman Elementary School from 1970 to 1978.
