Frances Keith

This October, 2010, Johnny and I will be married for 50 years!! We were married in October, 1960. Moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area for 12 years, then moved back to Quitman in 1972. Vicki and David attended school at QISD also. I received my BS in Home Economics in 1973 and started teaching at QHS in February of 1974. I retired in 1999, Johnny retired in 2004 and we have spent our time traveling and enjoying our time doing whatever we choose. Retirement is wonderful!! Vicki is the QES Elementary Librarian and David has been a pilot for the past 12 years. We don't have any grandkids, just 'grand dogs'.

When I graduated in 1960, I said I never wanted to see a classroom again in my life. It took eight years before I realized that I wanted to be a Home Economic's Teacher just like Mary Myers. I started to college when Vicki was 7 years old and David was 9 months old. I loved everyone of my classes and accomplished my goal in 1975 when I became one the Home Economics Teacher at QHS.
