Rick Hammerquist

Good job on this website. I headed West after graduating from SDSU and was a tennis pro at various clubs in Oregon and Washington. I married my wife Karen from Portland when I was working at Salishan Lodge on the Oregon coast in 1988. I then quit the tennis gig and went to Idaho State to get a Masters of Physical Therapy and have been working in private practice for the past 12 years. My wife is an elementary teacher and we have two healthy boys Ian and Erik. I love to play tennis, golf, fish, and hike. (Nothing has changed here since high school except getting married and having a family) I recently founded the Keizer Tennis Association and am on the Keizer Parks Foundation. I am working on getting 6 public courts built here in Keizer and our association dreams of indoor tennis in the future.

I know I was very much entertained by my fellow classmates but my memories are faint. Perhaps too much fine Oregon wine. I remember that I didn't type too much in Ploof's class because I was always running errands for him.
