School Story:
Ahhh....Stevens High School....Ahhhhh.....those were good days. Well, you robbed us of Lee Lundie by way of Custer, but then again Stevens robbed you of me! (lol) Originally I lived up the street from Susie Grass and Carol Ehrke on Lynnwood Drive and attended Perpetual Help with John Enterman.
My mom then married the postman and he moved us across town to a larger house (there were 9 of us eventually). Not a huge family in those days eh?
Stevens wasn't a bad place to be, and I did end up riding a bus with Cobblers for several autumns and winters to run a little X-C and mat time. Your cheerleaders were much nicer to us than ours were (maybe because ours knew us better than yours did? Ha!)
Had great times lifeguarding at Roosevelt Pool with Lisa Tillett, Kim Mattis, Lee Lundie, the Gormans, Tim Brennan, and Jan- and the other guards at Horace Mann and Robbinsdale- Kirk Richards, Michelle Sanders, Dan Hoffmann. Ross Langseth and Mark Clements always liked to hang around the pool too, but they had real jobs.
Go ahead and shoot me a line - or a Raider slam - I can take it. I would crash your reunion, but cannot this time. Hope to move back to Rapid City one of these days.
