Name the Raider Questions:

  1. Name the Raider who went head to head with his football coach on the football field. Envision this if you would! The football coach at West Junior High  is not happy with his football players. He yells at them to get their act together and quit being pansies against their opponents.  He puts his football helmet on and lines up the players to each take a run at him. This Raider puts his head down and thinks to himself, "I’m going to show you!” The two collide and the air rings with the crack of fiberglass.  Our upcoming Raider’s helmet splits down the center. The dazed player looks at the coach and asks for permission to go get another helmet. He never returns to the football field and his football career dies with the severed helmet. 🏈
  2. Name the Raider who opened a word famous Performing Arts Studio that has provided a lot of talent for tv and movies. In fact this last year there were 11 dancers from their studio who danced on the final of “Dancing with the Stars.”πŸ’ƒπŸ•ΊπŸ»
  3. Name the Raider “who made tracks” during the 2006 Sturgis Rally in Custer State Park by outrunning a buffalo.  Picture this, it’s late at night and our fellow Raider was walking along with a compadre discussing the rally and what not, when looming just two feet away was the biggest bull bison they had ever seen. Imagine the smell, the sounds of his grunting and the fact that he’s had a really rough day avoiding motorcyclists and the constant drone of Harleys. He’s ticked off and ready to take on these two nobodies that have encroached upon his nightly feast of buffalo grass and other open range delights. As the story goes… they made it to safety without being gored or losing their precious attire. Remember! Don’t pet the fluffy cows!🦬
  4. Name the Raider who accomplished 2.4 million vertical feet skiing in one year.  That’s 110 days in ski lingo!πŸŽΏβ›·οΈ
  5. Name the Raider who performed in the opening of the Olympic Arts Festival for the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 1984.  Hint:  It was with a German Company! Yes, there was both boos and bravos rebounding in the audience because they felt so strongly each way.  πŸ˜‰
  6. Name the Raider who built his own highly modified experimental super cub with Alaskan Bush Wheels in a 14 month period.
  7. Name the Raider who made practice runs with a gold medalist bobsled pilot in a 4-person bobsled.  They did 3 runs and beat the previous record each time!
  8. Name the Raider who helped build ski chalets for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT.
  9. Name the Raider who has been a herdsman at the annual Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup for the last 5 years.  Hint:  He has been a Buckaroo, a group founded by Glenn Best (Leslee’s father), for 32 years.
  10. Name the Raider who has taught sign language for over 32 years.
  11. Name the Raider who worked at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. between 1982 and 1984. They worked as Assistant to the Director of The American Film Institute during the day and sang with The Washington Opera at night.
  12. Name the Raider who sold a dinosaur… a triceratops to be exact. Oh, the tales we could tell living in South Dakota where the wind blows over the golden prairie which hides a vast wealth of bones.
  13. Name the Raider who owns a brewery in Montana. Alas, he wasn't a Chemical Engineer but a Civil Engineer. He took time off to build Blackfoot River Brewing Company.
