4 years Navy-4year California machinist-Farming and ranching south of Reliance- moved To Rapid City and weatherized houses-moved to Noxon, Mt. and started carving and making diamond willow canes and walking sticks, salmon fishing in Oregon,cutting firewood, scooping SNOW ! 20 feet last year and 12 feet this year. Manage to get back pheasant hunting about every year.

Robert Graves and I demolished the school house and used the lumber to build several houses. Alan Hodgin and I used to skip school- pheasant hunt till noon, go in to the lunch room for lunch, go back out and hunt pheasants till time to practice for basket ball. Jim Jensen and I took up shop with no teacher while the rest of the class took bookeeping. We spent that class time goofing off while the rest of the class was slaving over numbers !
