Myrna Schelske (Hale) (1959)
Dad loved Lyman County dearly..He was always an inspiration to us. We miss him and Mom so much..All Dad could say to us the last few years of his life was that he wanted to be back "West of the River". The Missouri River was the dividing point for the settlement of the County. He loved Reliance and Lyman County and he was so involved with his family, friends, and anything he could do to promote Lyman County. His family was one of the original settlers who homesteaded in the area. We have such fond memories of the square dances and the many card parties that the Kindopp's, Fletcher's, Bukacek's amd Schelske's had almost every week after the dances that they attended. We were given very good ethics to live by--both of our parents instilled these qualities to us to be carried on in our own families. We miss all of the times we spent with them..Myrna
