School Story:
After my Reliance experience, I taught science and coached in Platte, South Dakota for five years. Jim Slocum, Supt. of Huron then asked me to be the science chairman, and I enjoyed this teaching experience a great deal. During the sputnik years I had the opportunity to participate and teach in many National Science Foundation seminars across the United States. I went on to complete my doctorate at the University of Minnesota in 1973. I then joined The Gallup Organization specializing in radio, television and professional sports. I had the good fortune to work with Lou Nanne of the Minnesota North Stars, and Bud Grant of the Minnesota Vikings for several years. I am presently retired but still do some motivational seminars
