Francis "Frank" Allan Tucci, 66, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, in Marysville, Calif.

Born in Ashland, the son of Joseph and Maria Tucci, he proudly served 31 years in the U.S. Air Force, reaching the rank of Chief Master Sergeant with numerous decorations, medals, badges, citations and campaign ribbons. His duty assignments were stateside and around the world to include Southeast Asia, Europe and Africa. His last assignment was at Beale AFB the 9th AMS, OMS and SRW as Head Flight Line Chief "HABU."

His survivors include his wife, Anneliese, Marysville, Calif.; son, Bernard (Debbie) Tucci, Olivehurst, Calif.; daughter, Bev Heaven and Don, Marysville, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Newman, Joan (Larry) Samuelson, and Audrey (Lee) Erickson, and brother, James (Karen) Tucci, all of Ashland; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives in Germany include Erika, Wifred, Chrystal, Wilma, and Rolland.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Tucci, mother, Maria Tucci, brother, Joseph Tucci Jr., and brother, Donald Tucci.

A full military service was held on Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, with Military Chaplain John Sanders, Beale Air Force Base officiating. Interment took place at Sierra View Memorial Park.
