I was stationed at R-M with Joe back in 68-69. I was his OJT trainer in Aerial Port. Joe was sent TDY to Vietnam during TET in 68. I grew up in Yonkers NY and returned there in 69 and later moved to Dutchess County NY. After I retired from the NYANG at Stewart ANGB and the Westchester Co Police I moved to Florida and then learned that Joe’s parents lived down the street from me in Dutchess County and he lived only about ten miles from my house. We had planned to get together on my next trip to NY but unfortunately Joe passed before I made the trip.
