30 year of Life after High School:
Three weeks after graduation, I met this older guy who played guitar and sang in a band, was divorced and had a kid. For me, it was exciting, cool, and love at first sight. For my mother, hell with a van!
I still went away to college, graduated and came back and got a good job. The guitar player luckily decided that I was worth the wait. We married in 1984 and I had an instant family. We are still working for a living, he's still playing and singing in his spare time. I am still the ultimate groupie/roadie! We've raised three amazingly independant, responsible and funny kids. I have two beautiful granddaughters who just moved back east from San Diego, CA, so we spend as much time with them as we can.

Marching Band, football games, Christmas concert elf runs, newspaper snow, the beginning but rarely the end of parties senior year.

After the reunion last weekend, I am struck by how our impressions of people at 18 years old can be so far off base. When we see them again as adults, most require a total re-evaluation!
The class of 1980 turned out some really amazing, interesting, fun grown-ups. I can't wait for the next chance to get everyone together.
Thank you to those who attended, especially from far away.
To those who couldn't (or wouldn't) make it, you really should make the next one a priority; you're missing out on some nice people.

Then again, who would we pick on??

FYI - By the next reunion, I plan on losing 30 pounds and looking as good as T.Noel.
(stop laughing... it's good to have a goal!)
