Kid pictures are fine, but I certainly would like to see our classmates. You don't look as much like your kids as you think.

Funny moments...
Looking at peoples responses to favorite teachers triggered some classroom memories- post if you have any :)

1) Mr. Rainey( I think it was Mr. Rainey, now I'm not sure- did he teach chemistry?) saying, "mmm o.k." between every word, then Matt Miller holding up a sign with the tally count- I swear it was something like 68 "mmm o.k.'s" in one class period- Matt could you verify?

2) Mr. Abrahamson getting very excited about the word Bangladesh.

3) Loved photography class with Mr. Cologmbe- field trip to Chicago to take pics. of the city and beach- we need more field trips like that :)

I remember one day Mr. Ware didn't show up for class. We all just sat there waiting ...

Also have great memories of vocal music with Mr. Larson. I went to a Christmas concert at RB a couple of years ago and it was awesome. So much came back to mind.

Did anyone have Mr. Smith for Government? Remember him? How about the History teacher with the really bad comb over that would stick straight up when the wind blew? I cant remember his name for some reason.....

Mr. Swanson was the history teacher. Wore the same clothes everyday...Sans-a-belt pants, white shirt, burgandy tie.

I had Mr. Smith. He was a very nervous teacher.

They were all nervous we would figure out they were not doing us any favors in terms of preparing us for college. Most of them were just going for the big pensions because they were as old as the school. Did you look at the teachers now? Many are younger than us. Now THAT makes me feel old.

Does anyone remember Mr Matthews? He was an English teacher that had a nervous breakdown during class. His class had the trash bag tarps on the ceiling to catch all the rain water from the leaking roof. I think someone tried to set a desk on fire in his class.

Bill Burris...where are u? I can not believe you are married. Are you or do u jus have beautiful children? Remember that night we were Gouch's and you said u would wait for me? What happened? I am still waiting....

Bill Burris

Oooh I waited Brach, you have my t-shirt to prove it!!! You say you spilled something on yours.....but is that really true?

Thank you Paul for remembering his name! Mr. Swanson -

Question for Dave P. - Miami Vice? Still a fan or no?

09/19/08 11:54 AM #14

Rena Braccio (Kuratko)

Yes ask Karen S. she walked into me with her Strawberry Hill Boones Farm. DId u want your t-Shirt back? I was going to add it to the trivia prizes.....Hey David Piekut...I nominate you for planning the 25th reunion, any other nominations?

09/19/08 12:14 PM #15

Bill Burris

Add it to the trivia prizes?????....does that shirt have so little meaning that it can so easily be tossed aside. Please tell me (I) wasn't drinking the boonze farm too?

AS for David P, he can do it ONLY if he wears that NASCAR full leather jump suit that is in a majority of his pics....actually, that should be the theme for the party, leather all leather!

Karen Schejbal (Albertini)

Wait a minute - I dont remember bumping into anyone with Strawberry Hill Boones Farm - did I really? Are you sure??

AND Bill your shirt is worth millions and you should be flattered that it is going up as a prize at the reunion - your legacy will continue on :)

So Dave P. where is the 25 Year gonna be?? Will it have accomodations for the little kids that most of us seem to have?

Ted Riordan

Who could forget the graduation ceremony; with the crop-duster circling overhead dragging a banner proclaiming "The World Is Your's Tony Molenda!"

Karen Schejbal (Albertini)

Ted are you serious???

09/19/08 01:45 PM #19

Kathleen Hull (Redmond)

Karen, you probably can't remember because you were out at the forest preserves all day...
